I’ve been connected to marketing for over 15 years and marketing for the coaching industry for more than 10 of those year.  For the last few, I’ve been working behind the scenes, working with very high level, high vying coaches in the online marketing space. I’ve had a deep passion to extend what I’ve learned and what I’ve seen– the  experience– and I really want to make that available to more heart-centered entrepreneurs of all levels. So I opened my own business to serve solopreneurs who want to be set up for success right from the start. I want them to rapidly grow as entrepreneurs and to leverage online marketing platforms, so they can accelerate their momentum in business and serve more people, make more money, work less hours and have more fun.


How long have you been doing what you do and how did you get to be a strategic automation & marketing consultant?

To answer this question, it’s probably best that I share with you a quick story about my background and what brought me to where I am today, helping heart-centered Soloprenuers, like you, choose, map, build, and use their technology platforms to reach more clients and prospects.

In March of 2013, I found myself having a conversation with an old friend and former boss. Unbeknownst to me, she had just crossed the 7-figure mark in her coaching business and had started looking for a person to bring on board as a dedicated Online Business Manager (Virtual Assistant meets Office Manager) for her company. The timing was perfect for me as my family and I were moving to Ventura, CA early the next month, and I jumped in right away.

After a few weeks on the job, it really started to hit home that we weren’t doing things very effectively.  We were using multiple systems and technologies to run the business while also growing our team to handle an increased workload. That meant I spent a lot of time training people on a lot of different platforms even if they were focused on 1-2 small tasks.

That summer, we started our investigation of technologies platforms that could help us manage everything in one place. We really wanted an all-in-one solution, so that we could go one place to view our client and prospect records, see the history of that person, set up auto-responders and other automation to make sure we stayed in contact with everyone consistently. We also wanted it to handle payments through an integrated shopping cart and manage our affiliate tracking and commissions through the same system if possible. We looked at our options, and decided that on ONTRAPORT™ (then called Office AutoPilot™) was the right fit for our team.

Once we knew what system we wanted to use, we hit a snag.  We were moving into a VERY busy time for the business and the team’s time was becoming a premium, and when you added in all the systems we were using… we just knew that if we didn’t bring in help, it would be disastrous for us.  We decided that we didn’t just want to hire someone to do it for us, we wanted to bring in a Certified Consultant who would be our project manager and lead the team to develop new processes based on the best practices of others in the coaching and information marketing industries.

What we discovered is that this type of consultant really didn’t exist within ONTRAPORT’s circles.  So while we hired someone to help with the migration, they did not leave us empowered to use our system going forward.  They set up most of our processes for us and when something didn’t work right, I had to go back to them to get it resolved.  And ultimately, I found that talking to the tech support team at ONTRAPORT got my challenges resolved more quickly.  (Because their support was included in the monthly fee for the software, I heavily relied on them to hold my hand and teach me how to fix and avoid problems the next time.)

As I started moving forward with ONTRAPORT for my friend/boss’s business (and with SendPepper™ for my husband’s chiropractic office) I had an epiphany!  The thing that I loved most about my job was playing with the system and training people on how to use it.

Shortly thereafter, clients of my boss started asking me about e-mail systems and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.  My friends with small businesses started asking for advice on how to stay connected to their clients and prospects and how to set up opt-in boxes on their websites.  With just a quick phone call they started shifting everything with their businesses because they were connecting with their people on a whole other level.

I have since made a commitment to dedicate the rest of my professional life as strategic automation & marketing consultant, to help other heart-centered entrepreneurs and coaches choose the best technology platforms that support every stage of their business while encouraging meaningful relationships with clients and prospects though my workshops, programs, and private coaching.

Since then, I have become an ONTRAPORT Certified Consultant, and have created The Tech That Connects System™, a series of 7 important high-touch strategies that every small business needs to apply to build strong client relationships in less time.

Who are your clients exactly?

I’ve worked with people in many different industries, but my favorites are heart-centered entrepreneurs, specifically one who are coaches and information marketers. People who are on a mission to change the lives of many but are struggling with the logistics of getting their message to the masses.

What happens if you haven’t worked with people in my field?

I’ve worked with many clients in a wide scope of practices. During this time, the main thing I’ve learned is that while every industry certainly has it’s own challenges, creating a solid business platform supported with the right technology is essential for any successful business.

Companies that have outstanding systems and are set up with the right technology truly shine and stand out in an overcrowded marketplace – and that’s where the real growth happens!

How are you different from other “automation and marketing consultants”?

I specialize in helping coaching and information marketer authentically automate their client experience and email marketing campaigns. I blend best practices, systems, and technology together, so that my clients can create better connections with their clients. Together, we co-create the processes that make sense for where they want to take their business. We look at what they need most NOW and map out processes that allow them to stabilize and duplicate as their reach increases.

In contrast, I do not work with local/brick & mortar or product based businesses.

What type of personality do you work best with and what is expected of me?

My products and programs are designed specifically to empower business owners to understand what is possible with their technology platforms. They teach the WHY of the process as well as the HOW in a way that can be passes onto others as the business grows.

Because this work is so personal, I specifically work with clients who are doing GREAT work in the world. Clients who understand that getting a real business up and running takes serious work and are not interested in a “get rich quick” scheme. I don’t believe in those methods and I’m only interested in working with people who have a deep purpose and passion behind their work.

For what type of professional are your services NOT going to work?

Please know that I’m extremely selective with who I choose to work with, and I “cherry-pick” my clients very carefully. I’ll gently turn away people who aren’t the right fit for my programs and won’t get great results from working together – that wouldn’t be fair to them otherwise!

My programs are NOT for people with zero money coming in yet. It’s been my experience that people in financial crisis won’t fully trust the recommendations I give them. If we’re going to work together, we need 100% trust in each other. Anything short of that is lacking in integrity which is of utmost importance to me.

If you do fall within this category, that’s perfectly OK – we’ve all been there (I fed my family with government assistance for about 2 years). Do yourself 3 favors:

1. Generate some income from a full-time or part-time job to at the least fund your business ventures. This will alleviate some of the stress involved with investing in your business. Most importantly, it will de-clutter your mind enough to focus on working together and the BIG picture! Once you start seeing the results of working together, you’ll be able to shift into focusing solely on growing your business.

I’m overwhelmed by all this technology stuff, can you work with me to get my business running smoothly?

First off, You are SO not alone in feeling overwhelmed. In fact, most of my clients come to me because they know that they don’t know what they need to be doing to make their business more successful. That’s why I offer on-going Automation & Marketing Consulting programs. These programs are focused on putting the right technology in place for your business so you can serve more people, work less hours, make more money, and have more fun.

How much does this all cost?

You probably noticed there aren’t many prices on my site. I’m not trying to be evasive. Chances are, if you are like me, knowing the prices before you know which consulting program works best for you will only tempt you to make a terrible decision based on cost not value. It’s okay, I totally get it.

How about we let you decide which level of support works best for you and then I’ll answer every pricing question you have about all of my programs, okay? Since I’m in the business of working myself out of a job and creating happy campers, too much or too little support does neither one of us any good. Besides, I don’t do pressure and I only work with people who are ready to say yes to showing up for their prospects and clients.

You should know that there are payment options for each program. I do NOT work by the hour. You can choose upfront pricing, or payments spread out during the time we work together. Feel free to choose the program that works best for you.

No really, money is tight, can’t you just give me a price?

Ok, I get it… you want a rough estimate, so you can budget for it.

Honestly, I have programs that cost $47 and ones that are over $20k. But really, when it comes to private consulting, I don’t know what you need until we chat about your business and I can see what is already in place… However most consulting projects have a mid-four to low-five figure investment.

How quickly can I expect results?

Obviously this depends on how established you are in your business (i.e. how many people follow your work, how many products and/or services you have already for sale or at least ready to launch, etc.). This is also dependent on how fully you commit to getting your pieces of the work done.

With that said, virtually all of my clients see big results quickly after working together – in the form of new customers, increased sales, better conversions, and much more!

How can I guarantee myself that my business will grow and become more streamlined?

Come prepared to fill your duties in our work together. We can build an amazing automated system for you, but without the right content, it won’t live nearly up to it’s potential. Please understand that this isn’t a “quick fix” – it’s not magic – it’s a process that takes real work from both parties.

However, clients of mine who have come prepared to deliver excellent content, with great product offerings, tend to make fantastic money in their business after working together.

Will I recover the investment I put into working with you?

Yes! I wouldn’t be offering my services if I didn’t 100% believe that I could help business owners recoup the costs of working together many times over. I’ve worked with businesses ranging from very small all the way to mid 7 figures, and I’ve seen what’s possible with intelligent automation in marketing.

Aside from the automation systems we’ll put in place, what you’re really getting from working together is a new way to look at your business. You’ll learn how to use technology to clone yourself many times over, so that you are no longer so limited by the hours of the work day, and you’ll have the freedom to pursue your new BIG ideas as they come to you.
